Auntie Val Comes to Visit

Ok, so this posting is a little late. Auntie Valerie came from NYC to meet me and hang out - about a month ago. But hey, I've been busy trying to grow. Here is a picture from her visit.

Finally

Olivia...
Finally Papa Heckel, with the help of your Daddy, has entered the world of "blogging"
I thought I was technically astute...but alas.....it is not to be.

I love the photos you are posting......sooooooo cute and I see my buddy Brady made this weeek!

Now that I know what to do.....I'll keep up and send you message.....take care, keep your mom and dad on their toes!!!

Love Papa Heckel

Brady & Me

I love my doggie, Brady. He likes to lick my fingers and toes!!

Update from Ms. Olivia

So, Mom and Dad are trying to get me into a 'schedule' of feeding and sleeping. I am doing ok with it, but I don't see what all the fuss is about!! I am healthy and happy and growing. Mom and I are really bonding. Dad is fun to hang out with. Here are some pictures from the last week or so.

Happy 4th Week

Olivia, you are now 4 weeks old. You are beautiful and loved so much already. Have a Happy New Year with Aunty Trish, Uncle Tim, Austin and Hayley. See you next year.

My Visit with Olivia

Olivia,
I want to thank you for having me up to New York for a visit last weekend. I must say that you were much more hospitable than your brother, Brady, who did nothing but growl at me. My Mom would likely say that he didn't like my facial hair. And while you were feisty that evening, you only woke up once to eat overnight! We were all grateful for the sleep! Oh, and thanks for the good vibes that went with me to my meeting in Philly :)
My final observation is that you have more hair at 3.5 weeks old than Matzek and Nestor combined. Furthermore, you are 1-0 in ND football... an undefeated streak we hope you maintain for at least a few years. Well, I'll let you get back to being hungry and growing. Happy New Year Heckel family! Not that I was surprised, but Jen and Ken, being parents seemed quite natural for you both (as it has for the Nestors and Matzeks as well!).
Ok, see you soon,
Uncle Pete
